Today at church we had a going away party for some university students who lived here for six months.

For six months they taught, learned and helped build relationships with Thai people.

The bittersweetness was almost palpable.

Goodbyes like this are a strange and surreal thing, and in many ways it's foreboding when I will eventually say goodbye to Thailand.

But I'll have time to write on that later.

Towards the end as people were settling down and some started to leave, a man named Victor got out a guitar and started worshipping.

And it was almost like a moment you'd see in a movie.

people sang along to the songs they knew, whether it be in Thai or English.

And we were just basking in the glow of God's glory.

All worshipping the same God.

Man, He is something else.
